The Quality Controller is responsible for ensuring all garments and linen processed in the laundry meet company quality standards before delivery to customers. The role involves inspecting cleaned items, identifying defects or damages, maintaining quality records, and coordinating with production teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect garments and linen after washing, pressing, and finishing processes.
Check for stains, damages, missing items, improper finishing, or quality defects.
Ensure garments are packed and tagged correctly before dispatch.
Verify that customer instructions and care labels are followed properly.
Coordinate with spotting, washing, pressing, and packing teams to correct quality issues.
Maintain daily quality control reports and records.
Ensure proper handling of delicate and high-value items.
Monitor compliance with company quality standards and SOPs.
Report recurring quality issues to supervisors and recommend improvements.
Ensure work area cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
Requirements
Previous experience in commercial laundry or garment care operations preferred.
Good knowledge of fabrics, stain identification, and garment finishing.
